Dry Rock and Roll Band

Dry meets Cheap Trick!

Brandon Merry
Brandon Merry
Brandon is the drummer of this power trio and does all the work in the band. (Sean and Jim just wiggle their fingers a bit.) Brandon joined Dry in October 1998 after he left the band Free Spirit. Little did he know that he was also to become a backup vocalist. Before Dry, Brandon had played with country and country rock bands. After a few bloody hand incidents, he took to playing rock and roll like a duck to water.(have you ever seen bloody drum sticks?) The Police, Kings X, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Primus, Dave Weckl and Chad Wackerman to top the list are a few of his influences. Brandon is a very solid drummer who always seems to have no trouble finding the groove and was able to record most of the 14 Days CD in 1 take. Brandon uses Tama Superstar & Imperialstar drums, Paiste / Zildgian cymbals and other unusual percussion objects. Brandon promotes safe sex in 1966 Chevy Vans, nude Winter golf, sleeping till 2:00 p.m., and is known for his incredible home-made beef jerky!!
